Enhance Your Smile With Custom Veneers
If you’re looking to improve the appearance of your teeth, veneers may be an ideal option. At Palouse View Dental, we provide high-quality, custom veneers designed to correct common imperfections such as chips, stains, gaps, and minor alignment issues. These thin, personalized shells are placed over the front of your teeth to enhance their shape, size, and color—creating a seamless, natural look. Whether you want subtle refinement or a dramatic smile makeover, veneers can help you achieve a bright, confident smile you’ll love.
When Should You Consider Veneers?
Veneers can solve a wide range of cosmetic concerns. You may be a good candidate if you have:
- Stained or Discolored Teeth: Teeth can become dull or discolored over time due to foods, drinks, smoking, or natural aging. Veneers restore a brighter, whiter, and more polished smile.
- Small Gaps Between Teeth: Minor spacing issues can make your smile look uneven. Veneers help close those gaps, creating a more uniform and balanced appearance.
- Chipped, Cracked, or Worn Teeth: Daily wear or accidental damage can leave teeth looking uneven or rough. Veneers cover these imperfections, giving your teeth a smooth, healthy, and complete look.
Types of Veneers
At Palouse View Dental, we offer two main types of veneers to help you achieve a confident smile. Each option is designed to fit your needs, comfort, and goals.
Prepless Veneers
These veneers are bonded directly to your teeth without removing enamel first. They enhance your smile’s appearance while keeping your natural tooth structure intact. Prepless veneers are ideal for small cosmetic touch-ups like fixing light discoloration or minor chips.
Standard Veneers
Dr. Menard mainly uses e.max veneers, known for their strength and long-lasting beauty. They’re more durable than prepless options and can handle bigger smile makeovers. With proper care, they can last for many years—often well over a decade.
How the Veneer Process Works
Patients typically need two appointments to complete the veneer process. Here’s what you can expect during each visit:
First Visit – Planning and Tooth Prep
Your first appointment begins with a thorough exam to confirm that veneers are the right option for you. If so, we’ll carefully prepare your teeth by removing a small amount of enamel to ensure a precise fit and a natural look. We’ll then take impressions and send them to a dental lab, where your custom veneers are crafted. Temporary veneers will be placed to protect your teeth while your permanent ones are being made.
Second Visit – Placing Your Veneers
When your custom veneers are ready, we’ll remove the temporary ones and carefully bond your permanent veneers in place using a strong dental adhesive. A special curing light ensures they are securely set. Once complete, you’ll leave with a flawless, confident smile that looks and feels completely natural.
